Ogun 2027- Group raises N2m for Yayi’s gov nomination form
The members Ogun political support group, Caucus 7202 during the presentation of a N2 million cheque to support the cost of governorship nomination form for Sen Solomon Adeola who is one of the leading governorship aspirants for the 2027 gubernatorial race in the state.
A political support group in Ogun State, Caucus 7202 (Yewa South Chapter), has donated a cheque of ₦2 million to assist in purchasing the governorship nomination form for the senator representing Ogun West, Olamilekan Solomon Adeola, widely known as Yayi.
The donation was made during an endorsement rally held at the International Market Ground in Owode/Ajilete, located in Yewa South Local Government Area. The event was organized to support both the re-election bid of President Bola Tinubu and Adeola Yayi’s governorship ambition.
Speaking at the gathering, the group’s Director-General, Moctar Koiki, stated that the gesture reflects their dedication to promoting Tinubu’s Renewed Hope Agenda and mobilizing grassroots support across the state.
He reaffirmed the group’s commitment to ensuring Tinubu’s return to office in 2027, adding that the cheque presentation was a practical demonstration of their endorsement for both the president and Yayi’s gubernatorial aspiration.
Koiki also praised Tinubu as a results-driven leader, citing achievements in infrastructure, education, and inclusive governance.
The rally attracted several political stakeholders, community leaders, and supporters, signaling increasing backing for both Tinubu’s re-election campaign and Adeola Yayi’s governorship bid in Ogun State.
Notable attendees included Caucus 7202 Ogun West Director-General, Isiaka Abass Zacobass; Deputy Director-General, Mukaila Oniyide; Kolawole Lawal; former House of Representatives member, Kayode Salako; APC Chairman in Yewa South, Tunji Idowu; and other party leaders.
Several individuals were also honored as patrons of the group, including Olayinka Tomiwa Akintomide, Muibat Sobowale Egungbohun, Nofiu Ogundipe, Raufu Akanbi Yusuf, and Ogunjobi Ganiu Adio.
